Filthy Beast The Early Days

Way back before they ever performed in public the 13 and 14 year old schoolboys started to practice.

5 Shades of Black

In early 1966, still known as 5 Shades of Black, the band decided to produce some publicity photographs.  These were taken inside the cemetery at St Mary's Church Andover, and at Peter's home in New Street, Andover.  You may notice that none of the pictures show the whole 5 members of the band together.  This is because the pictures were taken by Mike Perry and Dave Burke using a box brownie.

Unfortunately these pictures were never used to generate any publicity, which considering their quality was probably a good thing.
